Bill Whitbeck develops photos the old-fashioned way at Graphite Art Center. But he still uses a computer.

Bill Whitbeck has quite a story to tell. He also has thousands of negatives and slides to prove it. As I sit down with Bill in his studio space in Graphite at Second and Main, he tells me how it all began.

What a great story. I would love to hear about Bills adventures. What an exciting life he led it seems to me. Many of us of this age remember Kent State very well. I have all my old photos from 50 years back all catalogued by year in little bags and I love to go back and remember all of those times. I wasn't at Kent State but we all have memories we cherish and those reminder in print are priceless. I can't wait to meet Bill. I am so happy he is in Edmonds now with us.
