Growing memorial for slain Edmonds police officer

The Edmonds Police have created a memorial for Officer Tyler Steffins, who was killed Saturday, March 26, in Las Vegas while off duty. It's in front of the south entrance to the Public Safety Complex.
Among those placing flowers was Colleen Bucklin, who has lived in Edmonds for 71 years. She is the wife of Mark Bucklin, who for 45 years was a civil litigation attorney and for 30 years defended the City of Edmonds and its employees when they were sued. He was also General Counsel for WCIA, the self-insurance pool to which the city belongs.
