Bias, hurdles, tackled at Edmonds International Women's Day

'We want a world where girls grow up thinking they can be anything in the world'

Panels and speakers addressed bias in law enforcement and the court system, as well as the professional hurdles that women and minorities face, during the fourth annual Edmonds International Women's Day Saturday, March 5, at the Edmonds Waterfront Center.

The theme this year: "Break the Bias."

"This theme resonates, especially in the current climate," said Alicia Crank of Crank'd Up Consulting and one of the organizers of this year's event.
