Low-income housing coming to Edmonds Lutheran Church site

The Housing Authority of Snohomish County (HASCO) has awarded Everett-based Housing Hope 26 project-based vouchers for its plan to build a 52-unit apartment complex on land just east of Edmonds Lutheran Church.
The Edmonds church is selling the land to Housing Hope.
The units will be specifically made available to individuals and families who meet the definition of homeless under Section 103 of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, which states that a student is considered homeless if they lack “a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence.”
