Traffic signal revision at SR 104 and 232nd St. SW
As part of the Citywide pedestrian crossing enhancements project, the existing emergency traffic signal at the intersection of SR 104 and 232nd Street SW has been converted to a fully functional traffic signal with pedestrian crosswalks.
The traffic signal revision is now in place and operating.

Edmonds residents interested in serving as an alternate on the Edmonds Planning Board are encouraged to apply for the vacancy.
The Planning Board advises the mayor and City Council on comprehensive planning, rezones, development code amendments, and other land-use issues. Near-term issues the planning board will be reviewing include multifamily design standards, the Climate Action Plan update, and the periodic update of the comprehensive plan, due in 2024c
The board, with support from City staff, normally meets the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 7 p.m.

The City of Edmonds is seeking applications for two vacancies on the Architectural Design Board. The current openings for the architect and/or building designer and planner positions. The Architectural Design Board serves as an advisory board to the mayor, City Council, Planning Board, and Planning Division on proposed multiifamily and commercial developments.
These are volunteer positions and requires the appointed board members to attend one evening meeting a month, on the first Wednesday and an occasional meeting on the third Wednesday at 7 p.m. Board members serve a four-year term and are eligible for re-appointment to a second four-year term within a two-term limit.
Application deadline Friday, Feb, 25 at 4:30 pm.
