Do you have a favorite birdsong?

One of the extraordinary characteristics of Edmonds is its natural beauty. Visitors and residents alike regularly comment on the trees, the water, the mountains, the beach.

And, yes, the birdsong. How did the city grow this beautiful? Was it always this way?

More importantly, does Mother Nature do all the heavy lifting herself? Or does she get a little help from time to time?

Luckily for Edmonds, volunteers like Susie Schaefer are only too eager to jump in with both hands.
