Fried polenta is on the menu at Fire & the Feast in Edmonds.

The last time we ate "at" Fire & the Feast, we were deep into the pandemic and this new Edmonds favorite provided a small vision of normalcy.

In the original review, I wrote of my husband and I getting takeout from Fire & the Feast and watching a live-streamed event by Edmonds Center for the Arts, and how grateful we were to have a night of dinner and a show, whatever form it took.

Now that we are able to dine at restaurants again, either indoors or in the streateries for those who taking extra precautions with the persistence of COVID, we wanted to enjoy a full meal at the restaurant.

The fantastic pizza crust that we noted the first time is definitely still the base of their variety of yummy pizzas, from the traditional margherita (our choice) to spicy sausage or the primavera laden with veggies.

They also offer gluten- and dairy-free options. Among the three of us, we also tried the pasta carbonara and baked manicotti, after starting with a fantastic caesar salad and polenta friti (fried polenta sticks – mmmm).
