Could Deadmonds be making a comeback?

It's already here, if you ask Edmonds lino-cut printmaker Chris Minor, one of the artists on this weekend's Edmonds Art Studio Tour, a free annual event where participants are encouraged to visit local artists in their studios.

For the newly transplanted, "Deadmonds" was a term popularized by former Mayor Dave Earling to describe a bygone era when the city rolled up the sidewalks at 5 p.m. and a gourmet breakfast was a Denver omelette and crispy hash browns.
