Edmonds police chief attends golf tournament

The golf tournament focused on raising funds for portable AED (automated external defibrillator) units
Seventy-seven golfers took part in the Edmonds Police Foundation's annual David Stern Memorial Golf Tournament Aug. 23 at Harbour Pointe Golf Club in Mukilteo.
Stern is a former Edmonds police chief who died in 2007. His wife, Darlene Stern-Rapp, is a board of directors emeritus on the foundation.
Michelle Bennett, recently named Edmonds' new police chief, made a special guest appearance.
