Rotary breaks ground on classrooms in Gambia

After 2½ years of fundraising, grant writing, and creating valuable partnerships, Edmonds Rotary has broken ground on its Bridge to Success literary project, in partnership with Rotary of Brusubi-Serrekunda in Gambia.

The philanthropic organization MRC Holland agreed to build a new three-classroom science lab at Kaur Wharftown and refurbish three classrooms into lab space at Niani in Wassu, the original site.
