With the filing for public office now over, the list of candidates for Edmonds City has increased by two.

Lora Petso, a former councilmember, has filed for Position 2. The position is held by Luke Distelhorst, who was appointed after Mike Nelson won his campaign for mayor. The term expires at the end of year, and Distelhorst will run to retain it.

Two other candidates are running for that Position 2 seat: Janelle Cass and Will Chen, insuring a primary in August.
