House fire near Mukilteo claims lives of father, daughter

A father and daughter were killed in a house fire near Mukilteo.

A man and his young daughter died in a house fire early Thursday, April 15, near Mukilteo.

Dispatchers received multiple 911 calls around 3:25 a.m. reporting smoke and flames coming from a house in the 2800 block of York Road. The house, located at the end of a long driveway, was engulfed in flames when South County Fire crews arrived.

The rapidly moving fire had already heavily damaged the house, according to Leslie Hynes of South County Fire.

Wow. Well these two fires are awfully close in time and in locations. Arson? Probably. But will we ever know???
