For as long as anyone can remember, Santa Claus helped usher in the holiday season on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, waving to all on his way to his honorary perch at Centennial Plaza for the holiday tree lighting countdown.

But 2020 has disrupted everyone's plan, including Santa.

So Santa improvised.

With the help of the jolly staff at Sound Styles, this past Saturday Santa climbed into a plush chair in the store's Main Street window and waved to kids and adults, maintaining social distancing to keep all safe.
