Edmonds Center for the Arts virtual gala is Sept. 25

Goal is to raise $310,000

Edmonds Center for the Arts – which has seen a significant drop in revenue during the coronavirus pandemic – has its "Light the Way Virtual Gala & Auction" Friday, Sept. 25. The online auction opened Sept. 18.

There is no charge to attend; all are welcome.

Angela Poe Russell of King 5 TV is the master of ceremonies. Fred Northup Jr. is the auctioneer.

One item: Shubert Ho of Feed Me Hospitality (Bar Dojo, The Mar-ket, Salt & Iron) will prepare a meal for five in your home.

Among the more than 100 donors are include Cline Jewelers, Rick Steves' Europe, and Niles Peacock, who will provide cocktails for 10.

RSVP is required to participate in the 6 p.m. happy hour, online auctions, and to watch the 7 p.m. live-streamed event.

Seattle soul and funk group the True Loves will provide an online concert.

As of Tuesday, ECA has reached 23% of its $310,000 fundraising goal, or just over $73,000.
