Edmonds rower earns scholarship to Loyola Marymount
Congratulation to Edmonds resident Maeve Conaty, who attended Seattle Prep and has earned an athletic scholarship (crew) to Loyola Marymount in California. Conaty was headed to nationals for Seattle Prep before the coronavirus cancelled that event, along with many others.
Her elder sister, Emma, is also a rower, who attends Washington State University, also on rowing scholarship. She placed fifth in singles in at Nationals her senior year. There is a third Conaty rower – Nora is a junior at Seattle Prep.
