Conflicting statements on hazard pay in Edmonds for some employees when not working

As first reported online last week in the Edmonds Beacon, some City of Edmonds employees have been receiving paid full-time salaries even not working full time. And many are getting hazard pay of between 3% and 6% – even when not working and staying at home.
Although there was pushback on the validity of this reporting from Council President Adrienne Fraley-Monillas at the close of Tuesday's council meeting, Human Resources Director Jessica Neill Hoyson has failed to respond to numerous requests to clarify the issue.
