Meadowdale High School's Impressions won the Large High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble category in Downbeat magazine's 2020 Student Music Awards.

DownBeat is one of the nation's leading jazz publication, dating to 1934. Meadowdale has been recognized as a runner-up several times in the past, but this was the first time the school was named as the winner.
