Edmonds train noise is back – for about 10 days

From June 2019: The quieter train horns in Edmonds will be silenced for about 10 days.

Yes, you are hearing – hearing! – a louder train horn in Edmonds.

"We are new to Edmonds and, for the first few months, the train horns were lower and not as often, but lately, over the last week or so, they've been really loud and more often, waking us from sleep," wrote Kathy Wong to the Beacon today, May 12.

"What changed? This is really interrupting our sleep and making it not so pleasant as we thought to live here."
