Edmonds lays out plan to deal with coronavirus' financial impacts
No decrease in pay for City staff, councilmembers

During the coronavirus pandemic, the City of Edmonds is in a similar position of uncertainty as are other municipalities across Washington state and the country related to the long-term financial impact on services, programs, and staffing.
But with widespread, temporary and permanent unemployment among Edmonds residents, and with businesses on the brink of disaster, as of Wednesday, April 15, the City – with more than 200 employees – has not had to reduce salaries of the mayor, City directors, staff, or City Council members.
