City announces $200,000 community relief fund

Three local nonprofits first to benefit

Edmonds Mayor Mike Nelson announced on Tuesday, April 7, that the City would fund three Edmonds nonprofits from a new $200,000 community and economic relief fund.

Beneficiaries are the Edmonds Food Bank, Edmonds Senior Center, and Edmonds Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

The funds are available immediately.

"These organizations were selected due to their experience, existing infrastructure, and ability to provide relief to those who need it most as quickly as possible," said Nelson.
