North Sound Church plans an online worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday morning. If unable to live-stream the entire service, the church writes on its webstie that it will have the sermon for Sunday available via podcast on the website.

From the Rev. Barry Crane: "In addition to canceling Sunday morning this week, implementing the Public Health guidelines means the cancellation of our Women's Bible Study, children's, and youth gatherings.

"King County has recommended no groups larger than 10 people gather while Snohomish County has set that number at 50.

"We are blessed to have Jean Doerge, formerly the Chief Nurse at Swedish Edmonds Hospital, on our North Sound staff, heading up Parish Health. Jean has been coordinating our response to this potential threat based on frequent daily monitoring of the bulletins from the Centers for Disease Control, the Washington State Department of Health and the Snohomish County Health Department.
