String quartet at Cascadia Art Museum Jan. 18

Veronica Ho (viola), Kathy Shaw (violin), Helen Lee (flute), Norma Dermond (cello) and Luis Alcantara-Nenninger (violin) will play Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Borodin and Britten at Cascadia Art Museum.

String Quartet music by Tchaikovsky, Borodin and Shostakovich, and the Simple Symphony of Benjamin Britten will be featured in concert at Cascadia Art Museum 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18. There will be music by Bach, Piazzolla, and Romberg.

The quartet, Constellation Musica, includes five musicians who play with Edmonds' Cascade Symphony.

Helen Lee (flute), a Hong Kong native, grew up in Seattle and began her flute studies with Wendy Wilhelmi at the age of 13. Luis Alcantara-Nenninger (violin) is a studio musician, recording for movies and TV shows. Veronica Ho (violin) is a Seattle native a...
