If there's a lesson to be learned from King's season-opening loss to Glacier Peak, it is that the 1A Knights definitely can play with the big boys.
King's went toe to toe with the 4A Grizzlies and were a 3-point shot from tying the score with just seconds left in the fourth quarter before Glacier Peak escaped with a 58-53 victory in a nonconference boys basketball game Friday, Dec. 6, at King's High School.
Knights head coach Rick Skeen was not disappointed with the Knights' performance against a Glacier Peak program that has advanced to the state tournament the last three years.
