King’s worst offensive output of the season came at a most inopportune time.
Granite Falls limited the Knights to just 128 yards of total offense and prevailed 16-7 in King’s North Sound Conference football opener Friday, Oct. 11, at Granite Falls High School.
The Knights (0-1 in the league, 1-5 overall) were coming off one of their best offensive performances of the season – a 52-14 victory over Raymond – in which the offense generated 402 yards, including 304 rushing, in a game that was stopped in the third quarter by mutual agreement of the coaches.
