It took about a quarter but once its offense got rolling, King’s was unstoppable.
The Knights scored 38 unanswered points in the second and third quarters to run away from Raymond with a 52-14 victory in a nonconference football game Friday, Oct. 4, at Woolsey Stadium.
The two teams were tied at 14 after the first quarter when King’s made some defensive adjustments. A speedy Seagull running back scored on runs of 33- and 72-yards.
“We focused on their back and on tackling better,” Knights coach Jim Shapiro said.
