Though Mary Kay and I have owned Edmonds Bookshop for more than 18 years, the store's daily operation, not to mention the overall identity and merchandising strategy, is mainly Mary Kay's doing.
It's her, along with our dedicated staff, who try to model a consistent set of values to our customers – a love of books, respect for the tastes of customers, defense of the printed word, and the value to the community of being an independent business.
