Community rallying around Edmonds-Woodway wrestler

The community is rallying to support an Edmonds-Woodway High School wrestler recently diagnosed with an inoperable tumor on her brain stem.
Emily Hood, 17, is currently undergoing radiation treatment for Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), an extremely rare childhood cancer that affects about 300 children in the United States each year, according to the Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center.
