A new look for Meadowdale | Baseball

It could be a bumpy ride to start out for the Meadowdale baseball team.

The roster of the defending Wesco 3A South champions underwent a major overhaul with the graduation of nine seniors, who helped guide the Mavericks to their first league title since 2012.

But on the bright side, Meadowdale has a young pitching staff that saw significant action last season.

“We have a lot of experience coming back on the mound,” Meadowdale coach Bill Hummel said. “The quantity of arms is not going to be the issue.”
