Cameron Taylor Hamblet, 18, of Edmonds, Washington, left us all too early on September 23.
Cameron, born June 11, 2000, is survived by her father Curtis Hamblet, mother Stacey West (Ethan), brother Brandon Hamblet, grandparents Gordon Stewart, Larry and Marge Hamblet, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Cameron was preceded in death by her grandmother, Carol Stewart.
Cameron grew up in Edmonds and had recently graduated Edmonds eLearning Academy in 2018, where she excelled at many subjects, including science, math and English.
She was a prolific writer with a unique grasp of young life's perspectives, as well as an accomplished opera singer and artist. A strong supporter of acceptance for all, she touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.
A celebration of life for family and family friends is scheduled for Sunday, October 21, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Beck's Tribute Center, 405 Fifth Ave. S, Edmonds.
In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe for the family to help with costs will be set up in the near future.
