Injuries hurt King’s in loss | Football

Injuries and illnesses are taking their toll on King’s.

Three starting linemen and a quarterback did not play in last week’s 47-7 loss to Nooksack Valley in a nonconference football game Friday, Sept. 14, at Goddard Stadium.

“I saw a lot of young guys playing and getting some playing time,” King’s coach Jim Shapiro.

Sophomore quarterback Casey Needham completed 10 of 22 passes for 71 yards, including a 18-yard touchdown to Luke Bobin in the fourth quarter.
