Food drive coming to Walnut Street Coffee

The Edmonds Lions Club will hold a food drive to benefit the Edmonds Food Bank from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at Walnut Street Coffee in Edmonds.

Nonperishable food items of all kinds are welcome. Especially needed items include applesauce, canned soups, peanut butter, spaghetti sauce, dry beans, pasta (including gluten-free), vegetable oil, flour, canned chicken, and canned tuna.

Nonfood items, such as personal hygiene products, dish soap, and laundry soap, are also welcome. Cash donations will be accepted.
