Ruth Karen Andis, age 89, of Edmonds died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, August 4, 2025. She was born on October 24, 1935, to Chester and Mary Byles. Karen graduated from Montesano High School in 1953 before attending Seattle Pacific College and completing her bachelor’s degree in 1957. Karen was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Len Andis, and is survived by her daughter, Cyndi Andis; son Tim Andis and his wife Michelle; and three grandsons, Tucker, his wife Jessica, Tate and Emmet Andis; and one great-grandson, Waylen Andis. A memorial is set for Saturday, August 23, at 2 p.m. at Community Christian Fellowship in Edmonds.
