Elaine Thompson Leslie passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025, at the age of 97. She was born in Winchester, Idaho, and raised on a farm in Nezperce. She moved to Seattle in 1945 to attend the nursing program at Seattle University.
She and her beloved husband, Earl, raised a family in Seattle and Edmonds, later moving to Lynnwood, and eventually Cristwood Park Retirement Community in Shoreline. Elaine worked for World Concern in many different roles from 1976 to 2003. Elaine’s life was marked by adventure, compassion, and unwavering faith.
