Interesting how Nelson’s friends try to control the media so his poor job performance is not revealed. Please vote Mike Rosen for mayor! Mike Nelsons statement about neighborhoods being safer simply is not true! Our city is definitely not safer, it is the exact opposite and we all see examples of this every day. Our current mayor does not care about safe neighborhoods, and refuses to communicate to solve problems. He has proven over and over he does not have the skills or experience to lead an effective city government. We have been trying to work with Edmonds City government on a complex problem related to this vacant abandoned house since the mayor was elected. Under this mayor, we have experienced city departments that do not communicate or work together, we were told not to communicate with the county council and the lack of care and accountability for our Seaview neighborhood has been appalling. Please vote for Mike Rosen, we need a mayor who communicates and cares

Wow. This is a hit piece, pure and simple. This article from a former journalist does nothing to change my mind. I am disappointed that it got Guest View billing in the Beacon instead of putting it in the letters to the editor section where it belongs. I voted for Nelson last time. Not again.
