Edmonds resident Nick Baker, left, performs with Mac Potts at a winery in Manson.

Edmonds pianist Nick Baker, who has a weekly gig at the Edmonds Waterfront Center on Wednesdays, also takes his talents to other parts of the state.

Two weeks ago, he traveled to Lake Chelan to play a special gig with Chelan regular Mac Potts. Their combined talents are awesome enough, but more so when you consider both are blind.

They received enthusiastic responses from those in attendance on the patio at Manson Cellars.

According to Nick's mother, Kathy Passage, he performs with United by Music North America during the year as well, mostly in Gig Harbor, at Wurlitzer Manor, or at the Uptown Plaza stage area.

Potts, blind since birth, lives in Chelan with his wife and three kids, and is a regular in town, booked at wineries and other venues, such The Vogue.

For several years, Nick and Mac had their "Dueling Pianos" gigs, mostly down south in Vancouver.
