Sandra (Sandy) Naughten, 84, passed on June 10, 2023. She was a longtime Edmonds resident, born in Saint Ignatius, Montana, and a member of the Salish Kootenai tribes of the Flathead reservation.

Sandy moved to Seattle with her family in 1941. She met her husband, Larry Naughten (former Mayor of Edmonds), and they were married in 1957. Together they had three children. They later moved to Las Vegas in 2000 to be closer to family.

Sandy had a passion for music, dancing, cooking, and baking. She was also a talented professional artist.

One of her family's favorite pieces was the detailed insects and animals she would paint onto rocks.

Survived by her husband, Larry, children Kim Naughten, Kyle Sinner, and Steve Naughten, and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Sandy's giggle fits, baking, and creative spirit will be dearly missed.
