History alive: Edmonds Historical Museum celebrates 50 years with 50 artifacts

Mar-Vel Marble was a fixture at Second Avenue South and Main Street for years. It is now the site of Graphite Art Center.

If you're of recent vintage, you'll recall the Mar-Vel Marble sign on Second and Main, as well as the retro sign beckoning bowlers to Robin Hood Lanes at Westgate. Both are now gone, replaced by Graphite Arts Center and Walgreens, respectively.
