Ingeborg Johnson: 1941-2023

Posted

Inge had a gift for knowing the right words to say in every situation.

Born in Austria in 1941. Graduate of Lincoln High School and WWU. World's best wife and mother.

Life-long learner (from belly dancing to traditional Chinese cooking). Paralegal at Karr Tuttle Campbell for 25 years. Life really picked up when Inge retired, highlighted by building her dream home on the Edmonds waterfront, travel, entertaining, adopting feral cats (and a few cats that actually turned out to belong to neighbors), gardening, cooking German meals for her family, doting on her grandchildren, playing Scrabble and Mahjong with her friends, RV trips with the Square Wheels camping club, being part of the Edmonds Welcomers Club, and most recently, celebrating her 60th wedding anniversary with her husband, Dave Johnson.

Inge brought so much joy to her family and large circle of friends.

Inge was proceeded in death by her parents and beloved brother Max. She is survived by her husband, Dave; children Julie (Dan) Reeder and Ken (Amy) Johnson; granddaughters Allison, Andi, and Olivia; brother Klaus Wills, and many cherished in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lynnwood Feral Cat Project in memory of her precious cat, Sunny.
