Posted

Joyce, 89, was born June 24, 1933, in Seattle. She went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, following a long battle with heart disease. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clem and Gertie Palladin, and her husband of almost 58 years, Edwin F Kellison Sr.

She worked for the Edmonds School District for many years as head secretary and office manager at several schools: Alderwood Middle, Brier Middle, Madrona Middle, Edmonds High, and Edmonds-Woodway High. She loved her work, especially working with the students.

She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family. She is survived by her son Ed Kellison, Jr. (Geri); daughter Lori Kellison; granddaughter Cyndi Wylie (Scott), and grandson Erik Kellison (Kara), great grandchildren Jackson and Emily Wylie and Whittaker Kellison, her sister Donna Mae Holt, nephews Dan Holt (Janet) and Joe Holt (Michelle), and many other extended family members.

She was an extremely thoughtful person who remembered to send cards to all of her friends and family for every occasion. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and sister, and meeting friends for lunch.

She especially enjoyed traveling to Disneyland and Hawaii with her family. She was an avid fan of the Huskies, Seahawks and Mariners.

There will be a memorial service at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1315 N. 160th St., Shoreline, at 2 p.m. on Nov 5. Please send remembrances to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org/donate.
