Tracey Hollcraft 1967-2022

Posted

Tracey Dean Hollcraft was born August 13, 1967, in Edmonds and passed away at midnight on June 18, 2022, after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer.

He was the first of two children born to Paula and David Hollcraft. Tracey spent the first four years of his life in Texas and Germany while his father served in the Army.

Tracey attended Meadowdale elementary, junior, and high schools. Tracey was a phenomenal athlete, playing baseball, basketball, soccer and football throughout his school years.

As a teenager, he learned to scuba dive and loved spear fishing. His hobbies also included hunting and salmon fishing. Tracey spent much of his working career in construction and doing tree work with family. Tracey loved God, his family, friends, sports, hiking, and being outdoors.

He was kind, had a generous, caring heart, and enjoyed giving gifts to others. Although he went through many difficult life situations, he was a fighter, lover, friend, and supporter of all. He always had a bounce in his step and sparkle in his eyes.

Tracey was charismatic with his constant smile, good nature, beautiful eyes looking into your soul, and handsome dimples. He appreciated deep, thoughtful connections and loved everyone. He always made time for his friends and family and enjoyed telling them an amusing story or two.

Tracey left this world young and sooner than we all wanted. He will be deeply missed, and we look forward to see him again in Paradise.

He is survived by his mother, Paula; brother, Shawn; sister-in-law, Tiffany; nephew, Matthew; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life took place with family in Edmonds for his grandmother, Marjorie, father, David and himself in July.
