'No camping' ordinance passes on a 5-2 vote

Accommodations could be located within 35 miles of Edmonds

These two men, who frequently spend time in the Safeway shopping center on Highway 99 in Edmonds, gave their permission to use their images. "Our officers regularly offer resources or services in situations like this to the extent that they can," said Edmonds PD Sgt. Josh McClure. "No matter the outcome of the ordinance issue, we will continue to provide those first and as often as possible to those who are willing to accept them."

The result was never in doubt.
