Edmonds streets are out of control

My experiences downtown crossing the streets in marked crosswalks left me feeling invisible, angry, and mean on Saturday.

Three events were taking place, bringing more cars in a long time. The stop signs were useless on Fifth and Main in all directions, with people crossing at corners, creating horror in an already crowded area with drivers behaving reckless and rude.

The one woman said she didn't see me in my colorful vest, and rolled through the sign without care. My response wasn't kind. The other car on Maple Street turned left right in front of me,...

We understand here on the hill no one stops at all at stop signs with cross walks of not. They drive 50 miles an hour plus and often do twirls in certain intersections. I am speaking of 5 corners area of Edmonds where the women and children were hit and taken to ER and ICU. So yes we all have a problem. Every where in our city. Please post this. I think it is important for people to know. We also have no sidewalks so people walk in the streets. Thank you Edmonds Beacon for posting this.
