Ardith A. Hilton (Ardie) passed away peacefully at her home in Edmonds on Feb. 24, 2022.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Hilton, of 55 years, three children, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was born in Seattle and attended Ballard High School. At a young age she became a talented artist. Over the years, she painted many beautiful floral designs and landscapes.

Ardie loved to travel and explore, and spent many summers with Mike on their sailboat or on the open road. She visited many countries, lived in several states, and enjoyed life to its fullest.

Ardie loved the Lord and attended Westgate Chapel in Edmonds for 35 years. She especially loved to sing gospel songs as both a soloist and a member of the church choir. She also performed as a member of the Edmonds Senior Center Sound Singers.

In recent years, Ardie spent many quiet hours with the Lord, reading her bible at home in her sunroom and taking care of her garden. One of her favorite scriptures was Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you: do not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Ardie was loved by many and will be missed by all.
