Have you visited Joyce, Florence, Beverly, Addy, Arletta, Amanda Park, or Lebam? Those are all towns in Washington named for wives, daughters, and lady friends. There are certainly others, but not all towns have female names.

I don't know anyone named Lebam, and I bet you don't either, but the name is reputedly female. Spell it backwards and you get Mabel. Mabel, Black Label. I am showing my age.

Some other towns were named for a woman, but not actually using her name. La Conner was named for Louise Anne Conner. Anacortes was named for Anna Curtis, but with a bit of a Spanish flavor suitabl...
