Parks director, police chief ignoring importance of our natural areas

Last updated 2/24/2022 at 8:30am

I used to be proud to say that I’ve lived in Edmonds for over 40 years, but it’s becoming embarrassing to admit I live in Edmonds.

What happened to our slogan, “It’s an Edmonds Kind of Day”?

For two years, I watched our mayor and the majority of our City Council ignore what the citizens of Edmonds believe to be important. And now, the remaining councilmembers, who were indeed listening to the public and trying to fix the “livability” and fiscal problems in this City, are being bashed in the media and during Council meetings.

This is flat-out embarrassing for Edmonds.

Joe Scordino You are absolutely right. I find it repulsive myself. These dept heads or what ever they are are not up to the job.. that is clear to me. It doesn't matter if they are in their 20s or 60's wrong is just wrong. So its not their ages it is their lack of life experience and definitely not getting a clear picture as they are focused. Do they call themselves Liberals? WHY?
