Edmonds City Councilmembers, with a super-majority vote of 5-2, on Tuesday approved a motion to add a $34,000 match to a state grant to complete the conceptual design phase of the 4th Avenue Cultural Corridor, a major component in the City's efforts to remain part of the state's Creative District.
Last year, the corridor project was dropped from the 2022 budget after undergoing more than 15 years of vetting and investment, including public open houses.
