Who doesn't want to lose that spare tire around the middle? But why is it so difficult?
Obesity is the most common chronic disease in the country. Nearly 43% of adults and almost 20% of children have it. Among adults, another 33% are pre-obese. So about 75% of Americans are an unhealthy weight, according to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Clearly, there is a lot to understand about this problem of our time.
