Sam Christensen: A crusader for de-stigmatizing obesity

Who doesn't want to lose that spare tire around the middle? But why is it so difficult?

Obesity is the most common chronic disease in the country. Nearly 43% of adults and almost 20% of children have it. Among adults, another 33% are pre-obese. So about 75% of Americans are an unhealthy weight, according to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Clearly, there is a lot to understand about this problem of our time.

Enter Sam Christensen – a certified nurse practitioner and crusader to destigmatize obesity.
