You've seen all the work being done at Civic Park in the heart of downtown. Here's your chance to hear a little about it.

The City of Edmonds Arts Commission has a Zoom meeting 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, with Seattle artist Clark Wiegman, who focuses on large-scale public works. He will talk about his proposed concept for the Civic Park Public Art Project.

Wiegman was selected through a competitive process to create a design for the shelter area at the entry to the new park off Sixth Avenue North. Facilitated through the City of Edmonds Arts Commission, the artwork budget is $90,000.
