Former Beacon Publishing editor remembers longtime publisher

Congratulations to Paul Archipley on his well-deserved retirement!

Paul is one of the finest people I've had the privilege of meeting, and I am extremely lucky and fortunate that I got to call him my first boss in the field of journalism.

Paul took a chance on a 22-year-old Mukilteo local, who'd just graduated from college a couple of months ago, and I'll forever be grateful for the opportunity he provided me.

I watched. I thought the same. I felt it was pushed and not explained well at all. I noticed the speaker was I would say not being entirely transparent. I think taking on this Rank choice voting is a very bad idea for Edmonds right now anyway. We have enough to straighten out first. We have many decisions on what will go where etc with our transformation to one big city!! I say NO until we know what we are doing and all of the t's have been crossed. Thank you. Deb. Oh I don't like dishonesty btw.
