Cascadia showcases Edmonds artist Howard Duell

The work of the late Howard Duell is showcased at Cascadia Art Museum in Edmonds.

Cascadia Art Museum is presenting its first solo exhibition of the work of longtime Edmonds resident Howard Dallas Duell (1929-2009). The collection was loaned to Cascadia by Duell's family, with many works never previously seen before by the public.

Locals may know that Duell created the Apollo 11 sculpture – with the help of Edmonds School District students – at Neil Armstrong Plaza in the parking lot of the Maxwell-McGinness Public Safety Complex at 250 Fifth Ave. S. in Edmonds. It was dedicated July 4, 1976, for the Bicentennial.
